Rev. Hyung Jin Moon’s Prayer

February 15, 2010

Father, we thank You so much for this day that You have blessed upon us. As we now come into Your presence, Father, we know that You have planned for Your blessed central families, Your children, just like Moses who had to walk through the wilderness course, and the leadership that was changed to Joshua, moving into Canaan, Father, in the age of settlement. But Father, we know, looking at the providential history, that Your children became faithless in Canaan, that they were not able to substantiate the gathering ground for Your community.

But Father, at this time True Father has told us, even before we came to HQ Church, of this important mission. Father, we know that we will have to substantialize this, Father, to be able to have the central place in this land of Canaan, so that our families can gather, Father, that our families can grow in their lives of faith, in their lives in abundance physically and spiritually.

Father, we pray that You may ordain this, that Father, You may give us the strength that we will need to fight through the many battles that are up against us. Father, we pray that You may fill us with a strong faith that can move through the challenges, the archangels, the obstacles that will come into our way.

But Father, let us always have compassion, and let us know that as we move and focus not on the benefit of the leaders but the benefit of the members, Your children, Father, we know that Your house will be a house of blessing, that Your children will be able to shine, that our church will move into a new history and a new age that we will be able to witness.

Father, thank You so much for this day. We pray that You may pour Your abundance and blessing upon each and everyone of these families today, and we pray that each one of the family members around this world may be, Father, consoled, may recognize that, as Father has asked us to step into leadership, we are focusing not on the benefit of the leadership but focusing on letting our blessed families shine, allowing them to move closer to True Parents, allowing them to truly live a blessed life.

We believe that if we do that as a church, as a family, Father, we will be able to transcend boundaries and we will be able to work with other organizations, Father, religions that can help establish Your ideal Peace Kingdom on this earth. Thank You so much, Father, for this blessing that You have blessed upon us, and Father, let us move with confidence into this new age where we can now represent our church and all that it represents for the rest of history, Father. Thank You so much. We pray these things with an everlasting love and gratitude from the depths of our hearts,

In our names, Aju!

Rev. Hyung Jin Moon’s Prayer

February 8, 2010
Heavenly Father, thank You so much. Father we thank You for this day that we can come together once again, that we have the freedom to live, to practice and worship You in this incredible world. Father, we thank You so much for the democratic world which was prepared by the American forefathers, guided by Your hand. Father, we thank You so much, because democracy is truly freeing people, allowing us to experience our faith without persecution.  And we pray that those ideals may come to pass, that they may come true in all democratic countries.
Father, we pray for our brothers and sisters, particularly in Japan, who for 43 years have endured so much persecution, illegal kidnappings and crimes against human rights, because of their faith, and their religion.  Father, we pray that You may console those hearts today. We want to pray for those persecutors, we want to pray like Jesus prayed, for those persecutors. We pray that they may have forgiveness and that they may repent of their ways. We pray that we may all be delivered into Your hand and Your love and we want to pray particularly for our brothers and sisters who have suffered these atrocities.
Father, we want to pray for those brothers and sisters who are the true heroes of our faith, who have endured intense suffering but  still hold strong with love, with conviction and with faith. Father, we thank You so much for them, because without them we would be so unable to see how blessed we can be.  We pray for them today, we pray that You have Your hand with them today, and that You may protect them today. We pray that Unificationists all around the world may be proud of their faith; that we may understand our right to practice our religion, our right to be proud of our faith, proud of True Parents; that we may understand our right to declare that they are the Lord, that they are the Messiah.
Father, we thank You so much, and we want to come together as a community, we want to offer grace to You and offer thanks.  We want to ask You to come down and be in our lives, Father, to give us courage and strength to stand up in the face of persecution with peace, to stand up in the face of injustice with truth and stand up in the face of hatred with true love.  Thank You so much.  We pray, Father, that You may be with us today and as we move forward.  Please guide us and give us Your spirit.  Thank You so much.  We pray all these things in our own names, as Blessed Central families we pray.  Aju, Aju.

Rev. Hyung Jin Moon’s Prayer

February 4, 2010

Heavenly Father, thank you so much for this day, Father. We are in Your presence, and Father, we want to recognize today that a family is not only together and stands together in times of feast and good times; but Father, a true family learns how to stick together and stand for one another and defend one another in times of crisis, in times of persecution. Father, we pray that today we may mature to that level.

Father, call in us the heart that is not only centered on our own need.  Father, let us expand to the needs of those who have suffered so much for us.  Father, our Japanese movement has sacrificed and has held the entire financial responsibility to fund every church in America, every church in Korea, every church in Lithuania, every church in Africa. They have shouldered that burden for the last 30 years. They have paid for our church buildings; they have paid for our ceremonies and our events. And Father, we are indebted.  They have sacrificed the most, and they are our saints.

Father, we may feel that we have done a lot; but You know how much Your Japanese sons and daughters have suffered!  Those who truly know (the truth), do know how much they have suffered for the sake of all our communities around the world.  Father, we want to pray for them today and particularly for those who have been illegally abducted, Father, in a democratic state, against their will. Father, they have been not only persecuted but tortured, and imprisoned!  Some of our sisters, Father — we don’t even want to repeat what happened to them! Father, these grave misdoings and sins are against Your people, Father!

We pray for Your forgiveness because, Father, this is truly, truly painful for You to see.  Father, we want to be here together for them; we want to pray for them today. And we don’t want to just pray – we want to step out in action, for it is said in the Scripture that he who hears the words and puts them into practice is the one who builds a house on a rock. Let us hear these words, Father. Let us put into practice our faith. Let us share it and declare it, so that nobody can take it away from us or from our brothers and sisters in Japan, or in Africa or in Russia or anywhere else.

Father, let us protect our faith; it is time for us to stand up for one another.  Father, we want to do that. We are mature, we are adults, Father. Father, we know that we want to stand up for them, and give us the courage to do so, to stand up. Father, we pray that You may encourage the brothers and sisters from Japan who see this service. We pray that they may be encouraged today. Encourage them. They truly need it. We love them so much. We love You. We are pouring our hearts out to You, and we thank You.  Father, we thank You once again for being with us at this time, and we will do our 5%. Thank You so much.

We pray all these things in our names as central blessed families and proud Unificationists. We pray this in the name of True Parents. Aju! Aju! Aju!
